HEAD OF ENGAGEMENT/MARKETING

We’re after someone who can manage all the functions of a traditional growth marketer (with their eyes closed and one hand tied behind their back), but with a much broader remit. You’ll understand where our audience is and be comfortable communicating with them via social channels on a daily basis. Importantly though, you’ll always be looking beyond those campaigns to find opportunities in other marketing channels.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team on brand, strategy, user experience and relationships with our amazing commercial partners.

We have a growing audience of engaged investors who consider us their most trusted source of investing information. All of our marketing efforts need to align with that, so understanding finance is critical to success.

What You’ll Do

Hopefully no day will be the same but some key deliverables include:

  • Developing a cohesive growth marketing strategy

  • Building paid social campaigns, optimising, reporting, budgeting… and being prepared to pivot whenever needed

  • Immersing yourself in our content and using it to drive engagement and audience growth

  • Designing and implementing paid campaigns for one-off events or commercial projects

  • Being part of the launch team for a major new product (coming later this year)

  • Seeking out new channel opportunities which will speak to our audience (other media, OOH, sponsorships, events, affiliate marketing etc)

About You

  • You’re a team player with mountains of initiative and will thrive in a startup environment

  • At a minimum you’ll have run paid digital campaigns for three years, preferably with some broader marketing/comms experience

  • You’re creative and love thinking outside the box, as opposed to being a box ticker

  • You’re a finance junkie; you might not be an expert but you understand what makes markets move and why investors care

  • Experience in marketing a news/media/information brand preferred but not essential
